Printing Tips
Despite what you may think, PLA is fine for making lamps. If you're using a bulb that is LED you should have no issues with melting or your works becoming soft. It takes 55c or 130F to really get it soft and most LED bulbs do not get that hot.
.16 Layer height gives a really nice look to the outside.
Tune your printer! If you want the best look make sure your printer is printing circles cleanly. I print these on an X1C which is what gives it such a great finish.
