Software For Creating Your Own 3D Models

When you are ready to create your own 3D models you will need software to build them.  Our listing of free 3D Modeling / Free CAD software will get you started on you way to becoming a modeling pro.  


Tinkercad is a free, easy-to-use app for 3D design, electronics, and coding. It's used by teachers, kids, hobbyists, and designers to design, and make anything!


Another browser based CAD software Onshape offers a free version for makers. Onshape is a modern CAD system used by thousands of companies worldwide. 

Fusion 360

While a pay-software for hobbyists its 100% free software.  This is also free for startups.  Check it out if you're looking for a step up from Tinkercad.
